Nancy’s research interests include integration across spatial scales (field sampling to UAV to satellite) and temporal scales (events of short duration but high impact versus slower, shaping events). She identifies as a naturalist that uses geospatial technologies to understand ecological processes.
As a post-doctoral researcher at CGR, she is using UAVs to explore new methods to generate digital terrain models as well as actively engaged in developing an independent research program related to prior work in the Everglades and Georgia Sea Island region.
